The Standards Committee NA 112-01-01 AA "Athletic Equipment", that Manfred Huck GmbH is an active member of, was responsible for drawing up the Standard DIN 79007-3, which sets out the requirements and test methods for hammer and discus throwing safety net equipment.

The surrounding discus safety net must reach at least 6 m from the ground. Safety nets meeting the standard EN 1263-1 Type B1, with a highest mesh size of 45 mm +-1 mm must also be used.

This net is made for a 9-panel-cage: 2 x 2m ; 2 x 3.7 m ; 5 x 3m.

Our discus throwing safety nets are made in knotless form from polypropylene with a diameter of approx. 5 mm.
