Our Hammer and Discus Safety nets are manufactured in approx. 5 mm high tenacity polypropylene. All Hammer and Discus Safety nets are edged with 8 mm rope along the top and down the vertical selvages.

To conform to DIN EN 1263-1, several loosely knotted in test meshes, each with a lead seal for monitoring purposes, are attached next to the identification lable. The numbers on the seal are identical to those on the check seal on the lable. As the strength of the yarn can decrease because of the effects of UV-rays, the test meshes must be used on nets more than 12 month old to check that the mesh still achieves the maximum tensile strength required.
